George began working with Ascend in 2021 as part of the summer camp staff in the Sangre De Christo Mountains of Northern New Mexico.

 

Prior to working with Ascend, George was involved with Climbers for Christ. He loves the mountains and has been rock climbing for over five years now, but his real passion is sharing the good news of the gospel.

 

His goal on an Ascend trip is to champion the building of authentic community where people can be themselves. George holds a Bachelors degree in Markets & Culture from Southern Methodist University and his plans include getting a Master of Arts in Theology and Letters.
