Adventure for a Lifetieme

In 2011, Ascend started the Adventure for a lifetime program, (AFL),  to reach out to under-served and under-priviledge youth.  The program has grown to be Ascend's primary focus. Since 2011 we have served over 1200 people through AFL at no cost to participants.  We have recived the Community Outdoor Outreach Program Grant from Texas Parks and Wildlife 6 times since 2011. This grant and other gracious donations have allowed us to introduce under-served children and youth to Texas State Parks, and help them to engage in fun and rewarding outdoor activities they would not have been able to otherwise.
