Come join us for the second annual Dare to Ascend trail marathon, half marathon, & 5K on Lake Georgetown. The 26.8 mile Goodwater loop is a scenic and wild thrill ride for runners of all skill levels.

In conjunction with the races, Ascend will be sponsoring a free family fitness festival starting at 8 am. There will be plenty of fun activities for the whole family, including a free kids K, climbing wall, food, and live music.

A huge part of Ascend's mission is facilitating outdoor adventure programs for at-risk youth. Through fun and engaging activites like Rock Climbing, Rappeling, Caving, and Canoeing, we teach leadership skills and encourage spiritual formation. This past year alone Ascend took over 150 at-risk youth outdoors. All the proceeds from this event will go toward our programs with at-risk youth.
